Look Great, See Better

Have you ever seen those weddings photos where the person in specs caught the camera flash in every picture!  That’s because they weren’t wearing anti-reflection coated lenses (AR lenses).  AR coated lenses reduce reflection from the surface of lenses and therefore allow more light to reach your eyes  – see the animation for more information.

As well as looking better in your spectacles, AR coated lenses also improve your sight as there are no reflections off your lenses.  Most people find their night vision is improved.  All the best cameras have AR coated lenses as standard, so if it’s good enough for a camera, isn’t it good enough for your eyes?

Anti Scratch, Anti Fog & Anti Smudge!

Nowadays manufacturers have also combined additional coatings into AR coated lenses.  So now we can provide anti-scatch, anti-smudge and even anti-fogging lenses.  It’s important to note that although these lenses are referred to as ‘anti-fog’ etc they will reduce things like fogging but they will not eliminate it.
